National Women Football Team
Super Falcons is a national women football team in Nigeria comprising a number of professional female athletes who have found their career in football playing. The team is being controlled by the Nigeria Federation of Football.
Nigeria national women's football team always known as the Super Falcons represents the country at competitive championships as the senior women's football team.
They also have the junior team operating under them which is known as the Super Falconets which is Nigeria's Under 20 women's football team which comprises of young females who their ages fall within the range of 20 years and below.
The team in their pursuit to achieve fame have competed in several tournaments such as maiden West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup of Nations for Women, World Cup, FIFA World Cup. They won the first African Women Cup of Nation once and have lost 5 games in African games for their first 20 years in existence.
