DailyPost.ng on the 7^th of April 2018 released the sports news which reflected the result of the friendly match between the Super Falcons and France senior women national team.

According to the news, the Super Falcons of Nigeria had the friendly match to enable them to prepare ahead of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers. The news publication read that at the 92^nd minute of the game, the France senior women national team had already defeated the Nigeria national women's football team with 8 – 0 score.
